The Desert Course is at the breathtaking Arabian Ranches residential development on the outskirts of the city, offering an alternative to the usual golf courses of Dubai.
Similar to the concept of a Links course, this is an exclusive grass course located in the middle of the desert, using natural desert terrain with no landscaping.
Golf Course
- Designed by Ian Baker-Finch Signature Golf Courses in association with Nicklaus Design.
- 7,092 yards, 18-hole desert style, par 72 golf course from the Gold Tees.
- GPS (Global Positioning System) on each golf cart to inform players of the exact distance from their golf cart to the centre of the green.

- The terrace at the Spanish Colonial style Clubhouse offers panoramic scenic views over the 9th and 18th greens.
- Eleven luxurious guest rooms with spectacular views overlooking the golf course or the lake. Each en-suite room is beautifully furnished.

- The Desert Course Golf Academy has highly trained golf professionals to teach the game. Incorporating practice Swing Rooms that open to the Floodlit Driving Range, Short Game Area, Putting Green and a 3-hole Pitch and Putt.
Rules of Play
- Visitors are welcome to play at the Desert Course, Arabian Ranches and are advised to book tee times in advance.
- Tee times are at 10-minute intervals, with four player’s maximum per tee time.
- Players are requested to bring their handicap certificates with them. The handicap limit for men is 28 and for ladies is 36.
- For safety reasons and strict control of the golf course operations, non-playing guests are not allowed to accompany players.
- Tailored trousers, shorts, golf shorts, shirts with collars, sports blouses, t-shirts with collars and sleeves are considered appropriate attire.
- Metal spiked shoes are not permitted. Golf shoes with soft spikes or flat-soled training shoes are allowed on the golf course.
Booking 
- Booking in advance is advised at all times as tee times can often be booked out months in advance.
- We can organise all your requirements including hotel transfers and club hire.
